The point of this blog and the reason I write it is to help you succeed.
Like I write in my about page success is a very confusing journey and to succeed the best thing to do is find help.
This blog is the sum of all I have done and all I have read about sales, motivation and success.
It all pales in comparison
When I do look back I do see that the one most important thing, what drives all else and that is the only thing that makes it worth it is “The Pursuit of Happiness”.
If you aren’t happy with your life, your situation and what you do. No endeavor is worth the toils.
My reason for chasing success
The reason I have been chasing financial freedom for so many years is not because I want money, it is because I want my freedom. Success will give me time to focus on what I really love in other words, my family, my friends and well to be honest, baseball.
My Dream
My dream is to have a large house (with a pool), one son and one dotter, my wife, a stable (my wife loves horses) and a baseball field.
In this reality I can do what I want and spend my time with those I care about.
This is what drives me. I work about 80 hours a week today so that I can work 0 hours a week in 4 years.
To be honest I don’t think I will ever stop working, I like my job to much. But I will have the freedom to say no to work whenever I want to and that in itself is enough.
Success only for the sake of Success
I feel it is important that you do charge forward in the spirit of happiness.
Don’t go chasing success for the sake of success.
Know when you are going to stop, when you feel it is enough and what you are going to do with your life once you have reached that target.
This dream will be a constant source of motivation for you and will help you measure your success up to this point.
The conclusion
Don’t let your dreams of the future destroy your life in the now.
Don’t forget what is important in your life and remember that all you are doing, should be moving you towards happiness.
Nothing else is worth your time.

Really good blog post here and I just wanted to comment & thank you for posting this. I’ve bookmarked youi blog and I’ll be back to read more in the future my friend! Also nice colors on the layout, it’s really easy on the eyes.
Thanks for leaving you comment.
I am glad you liked my design, I worked a lot on it but haven’t really found the layout I want yet so there might be some changes in the future.
Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you here again soon.
Great topic Daniel, one close to my heart. Jim Rohn, one of my great mentors once said that success is something that one attracts by becoming an attractive person. Your blog is perfectly symbolic of that my friend. Love your goals. A baseball field….never would have guessed it!
Hi Marcus,
Great to have you back here.
We have missed your comments lately.
You got to think big, I always liked the movie “Field Of Dreams”.
I might as well get me my own
Hey Daniel,
I was struck by the fact that your dream list consists mainly of material possessions. Is this really what’s most important to you?
If so, then that’s fine–different strokes for different folks. But you went on to say that you want to be able to do what you want and spend your time with those you care about. To me that’s far more interesting, and it sounded more genuine too. I’m curious as to what’s stopping you from spending your time with those you love NOW, as opposed to in four years’ time. Are you working towards a fixed amount of money or what? Why four years?
You may have answered these questions elsewhere on the site so I’ll click around. Thanks for the read!
I don’t mean any harm here Antonia, but I’m really not sure what you were reading. He says:
“The reason I have been chasing financial freedom for so many years is not because I want money, it is because I want my freedom. Success will give me time to focus on what I really love in other words, my family, my friends and well to be honest, baseball……My dream is to have a large house (with a pool), one son and one dotter, my wife, a stable (my wife loves horses) and a baseball field.”
When I read that, I see mention of 3 family members, a place to live comfortably with his family, a gift for his wife, and a place of respite and joy with the kids/friends (baseball field). I mean, what could be less materialistic than that?
Anyway, I just had to express my thoughts here because I feel Daniel’s goals are the ultimate reason as to why we pay the price while young to reach financial peace with loved ones for the majority of our adult life.
Go Daniel!
Hello Marcus and Antonia,
I am glad you left your comment Antonia.
There are some things I should definitely clarify here.
Btw, thanks a lot by the way Marcus for sticking up for me!
My goals are both material and most of all family related.
I wish to be able to spend 10 hours a day with my family. Something I can never do while working a day job.
What I do know is that I make sure to work no more than to 5 o’clock every day.
After that I put everything away and spend time with my wife.
I don’t work weekends and I try to get as much vacation as possible during the year.
What is important though is that I work hard, very hard, when at work.
My goal is to be able to in the 9 hours I spend at the office do as much as it used to take me to do in 15 or 20.
That way, even though I am working less I get more done, it is all about time management something I am a eager student of.
Just like you say Antonia live your life today, don’t wait till tomorrow.
Thanks for the comments guys, I hope this cleared up my views
Well, half of the things on the list were material possessions and half weren’t…so it’s open to interpretation! I think it read a little strangely to me at first because the first item on the list is “a large house (with a pool),” as if that were the most important thing on the list. But the excerpts you quoted, Marcus, give a more complete picture of Daniel’s goals, so thanks for pointing that out. And thanks again, Daniel, for a discussion-provoking article. Always interesting to hear about other people’s goals for the future. Best of luck in all you do!
Hello Antonia,
I’ll make sure to be more clear in the future.
And I agree with you that family should be put before all, the point of the article was to prove the value of living now and aiming to succeed because it will make your life happier.
Now you can find that anyway you wish, but just like you I think family and friends are the most important.
Hope to see you here again soon and done by shy to leave a comment about your own goals and dreams.
That is a discussion I would love to see.
